Our French partners, Think & Go, recently exhibited a range of exciting products at Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona. The world-wide launch of the first Connected Tablets is a joint venture between Think & Go and Ingenico Group, who are a global leader in seamless payment technology.
It takes connectivity to the next level as customers will now be able to buy or reserve tickets, fashion items etc by a quick, direct tap on the screen using their NFC enabled mobile phones or via a contactless bank card. There is no need to download an app and this innovation now opens up the sales channels to taxis, cars, railway stations, underground stations, airports and shopping malls. This means the Drive to Store has just become even more flexible, easier and exciting! Connected Tablets will be available to the market, in the near future and you can see the video on our website.
Connected Screens already has the capacity to accept payments via a contactless card or Apple Pay, (as well as the coming soon Android Pay and Samsung Pay) leading to all sorts of possibilities for the future and so watch this space for more updates!
